Thoughtfully created for your pets by the owners/operators of the Tail Blazers Copperfield retail store, Tail Blazers Dog Spa is a place where pets can come to have their grooming needs met in a safe environment.

When deciding to add grooming to our retail store, our mission was to provide a place that makes your pet's grooming experience as stress-free as it can possibly be. We understand that there are some animals that will never enjoy grooming, but if there is a way to make their experience better, shouldn't we try?

We have been open under a year, and in that time have earned the trust of vets, trainers, and breeders who honour us with their referrals.

No all day appointments - At our spa your pet is booked in for an appointment and you pick them up when their appointment is over. Getting your pet groomed and back with you as soon as we can is one way to reduce their stress.

No assembly line grooming - Some salons strive for high volume grooming to increase profits. We feel that profits should NOT come before the well being of your pet. At our spa your pet is given extra TLC and lots of reassurance from our groomers and is not passed around like a "widget".

Soothing aromatherapy and calming flower essences - In our air conditioned spa we use natural aromatherapy. As well, if your pet becomes stressed at the groomer despite everyone’s best efforts, we have all natural, non-sedative flower essences for your pet to try to induce a state of relaxation.

Groomers that care - You may have noticed that good groomers are in high demand out there! Does this mean that we settle for whomever we can get? NO WAY! We choose our groomers based on strict criteria, most importantly how they treat your pet. After all, they groom our pets too! Having great people skills and grooming talent are also a necessity. The healthy treats can't hurt! - We don't stuff your dog so full he won't eat dinner, but a few tasty reminders that the spa is a fun place to be can't but help reduce their stress! Remember, Tail Blazers' has a reputation for all natural foods and treats and that's the healthy tidbit that Fido is getting as a reward for being a good dog! Who doesn't love a lollipop after a visit to the Doctor? (I know we do!)
